The ECCA members met at ECCA President Thorpe’s house to hand out 250 free turkey’s and trimmings to Shaw residents. ECCA members Thorpe, Eloise Wahab,, ANC Commissioner Doris Brooks, 2nd NW Cooperative President Annie Hill, Earlene Matthews and Jeanette Gayden-Ivory helped hand out the turkey’s and trimmings to Shaw residents on a Saturday afternoon in November.  Those Shaw residents mostly senior citizens that could not attend the free turkey and trimmings event had their turkey and trimmings delivered to their homes by ECCA President Thorpe.
